  • Tweetbot for Mac is Finally Here! Tweetbot, our favorite twitter client for iOS, finally has an official Mac version available to all. Unfortunately, it comes at the somewhat high price of $20 due to Twitter's limitations on, essentially, how many people can use the client. If you decide not to purchase, be sure to revoke access in your Twitter preferences so others can get a chance to use it. [Tapbots Blog]
  • Firefox Marketplace Opens Doors with Aurora Release; Developers Can Gather Feedback Mozilla has launched the Firefox Marketplace, a place where users can download in-browser apps for their favorite tools and games?not unlike the apps in Chrome's web store. Right now, it's just for Android users using the alpha-like Aurora builds, but Mozilla says its on its way to the desktop as well. [Mozilla Blog]
  • Megaupload Is Dead. Long Live Mega! Megaupload may be long gone, but its creators aren't ready to let it rest in peace. This year, they plan to introduce Mega, a new service very similar to Megaupload but without the legal weaknesses?now, its infrastructure will ensure Mega does not see the files uploaded and its serers are much more secure against police raids and other issues. • Buy Reviews on Yelp, Get Black Mark Yelp has begun an operation to stop companies that buy favorable reviews on Yelp. The first eight businesses will be exposed this Thursday, and will receive a "Consumer Alert" badge on their page explaining that the company pays for good reviews?meaning you have a better idea of which businesses are really good, and which ones aren't. • A Turn of the Page for Newsweek Newsweek has announced that early next year, they will cease publication of their print edition and go all-digital, focusing on its tablet and online editions instead. [The Daily Beast]
